Care Package
Care package making is an on going initiative where we put together small groups of items in the form of packages in hopes of helping the less fortunate with everyday necessities. These items include hygiene products, winter warmth items, menstrual products, etc. We donate these packages or distribute them in the Downtown Eastside. We have created and donated over 1060 care packages.

CARE PACKAGE MAKING
DEC 4TH 2022
On December 4th, 2022 the HHYF had their very first project in Down Town. Here at a venue graciously donated to us, we were able to make over 260 care packages each containing: shampoo, soap bars, hand warmers, lip balm, and menstrual products. We had over 25 volunteers dedicate their morning to our event from 4 different schools in Vancouver. All the packages went to the Downtown Eastside Women's Centre in Vancouver.
